Engineered in Baltimore: The STX Ultra Power

At STX, innovation is a part of who we are. It’s what guides us as we develop equipment for our athletes to keep them at an elite level and advance the sport. But it takes time. 

Our Ultra Power head only recently hit the market. But for us, it’s been a long time coming. 

An advanced concept, it took the STX design and engineering teams nearly FIVE YEARS to conceive, design, test, implement changes, test and, yes, test some more, before the head was perfected and officially ready to hit the field. 

After several years of challenges, different iterations of the head, and major breakthroughs, STX Design Manager Austin Brown and Product Manager Kevin Kelly were thrilled to hear the positive feedback from athletes once they got the new head on their sticks.
